This policy explains what Jaunt ("we", "us") — an independent service operated in New Jersey, United States — collects when you use our website and app, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and sign-in information.
• Travel preferences: home airport, seat preference, hotel style, usual group size and any loyalty numbers you add.
• Trip information: the trip requests you type, trips we build for you, traveler names and the friends you invite to split a trip.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number; we keep a payment reference and amount.
• Usage data: basic device, browser and page-view information used to keep the service working and secure.

How we use it

• To build, price, change and book your trips.
• To send confirmations, itinerary updates and service messages.
• To prevent fraud, secure accounts and meet legal obligations.
• To improve Jaunt. Your trip requests are processed by AI services to understand what you want; they are not used to sell advertising.

Who we share it with

• Travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, activity operators and booking partners) — only what is needed to make your booking, such as traveler names.
• Service providers who host our app, process payments and run AI features, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• People you invite to a shared trip can see that trip's itinerary, prices and votes.
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep account and trip data while your account is open, and booking and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or limit certain uses. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email support@shopjaunt.com.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data restrictions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

Jaunt is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email.
