Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
By creating an account or using Jaunt you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Jaunt does
Jaunt is a trip-planning and booking service. We help you find and combine flights, stays and activities and arrange bookings with independent travel suppliers. Jaunt is not an airline, hotel or tour operator. Each supplier provides its own service under its own terms (including fare rules, hotel policies and operator conditions), which form part of your booking.
AI suggestions
Trips are assembled with the help of AI. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Always review dates, times, names and prices before you pay. The details shown on the checkout page are what you are booking.
Prices and payment
- The total shown before payment includes all taxes and fees we know about, plus Jaunt's booking fee, shown as its own line.
- Prices can change until you pay. If a supplier's price changes before your booking is confirmed, we'll show you the new price before charging.
- Some charges may be collected by the supplier directly (for example resort fees, city taxes paid at the hotel, or optional extras); where we know about them we show them before you book.
- Items booked through a partner's own website are paid to, and governed by, that partner.
Cancellations and refunds
Each item has its own cancellation terms, shown before you pay. See Cancellations & refunds.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate traveler names exactly as on government ID.
- Hold valid passports, visas, vaccinations and travel documents for your trip.
- Be at least 18 and have authority to book for everyone in your group.
- Don't misuse the service, resell bookings or attempt to access other people's data.
Group trips
The person who creates a shared trip is responsible for it. Each friend who pays a share pays for their own portion only. Shares do not guarantee a booking until the trip is fully paid and confirmed.
Disruptions
Delays, cancellations, overbooking and schedule changes are the supplier's responsibility under its terms and applicable law (such as airline passenger rights). We'll help you find rebooking options, but we can't guarantee them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jaunt is not liable for acts or omissions of travel suppliers, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Jaunt for the booking concerned. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above will change and continued use means you accept them. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Jaunt is operated independently in New Jersey, United States.
